Tara Kelley has been teaching for the past ten years. She has taught 1st grade through 6th grade. She completed her education with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming in 2015. She has held positions in both Utah and Wyoming. Most recently, she taught 1st grade for American Heritage on the American Fork campus. She has been married for twenty-one years and has six children ranging from newborn to nineteen. Mrs. Kelley’s family loves all things outdoors. They enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting. Her children are also very interested in cross country, track and field, art, soccer, and basketball. One of the things that makes Mrs. Kelley happiest is watching her kids do the things they love. She can often be found cheering them on and supporting their interests. When she is not doing that, she enjoys baking, reading, cooking, and serving others. Mrs. Kelley's family lives in Cody, Wyoming where her husband works as the Temple Facilities Manager for the Cody Wyoming Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Mrs. Kelley's children attended American Heritage on campus and will continue their education through the Online Microschool, Online High School, and Family School. As soon as her family walked through the doors of the school, they knew that American Heritage was the place they wanted to be, and it continues to be a blessing to be able to continue to be a part of the AHS family. Mrs. Kelley is so excited and feels privileged to serve the families of American Heritage School!
