- We offer “For-Credit” and “Non-Credit” options.
- Enrollment is open to all campuses including, Worldwide, Salt Lake City, and American Fork Campus.
- Our supported High School courses combine flexibility with personalized guidance. Students benefit from dedicated mentors, graders, and live classes. All for credit courses provide grading services. The live classes, held once per week, are strongly encouraged for optimal results, foster better understanding and enhance performance.
- Courses will be accessed through Canvas.

- Enrollment in AHS Online courses begins in June 2024.
- All our courses are accredited and can be taken for credit, which can then be transferred with an official AHS transcript.
Yes, your student can graduate and receive a high school diploma with AHS Online.
AHS Online diploma seeking students must:
- Purchase the Graduation Package yearly ($200) in 9-12 grade.
- Take at least 25% of all courses required for graduation through an AHS campus.
- Take at least 3 two-semester courses with AHS Online during their Senior year.
- Complete/pass 27 credit hours before the graduation date.
- Complete the following required courses at AHS Online: Constitutional Studies, Principles of Leadership, Senior Thesis, and Experiential Learning.
- The purchase of a graduation pack includes:
- A yearly updated graduation plan
- Academic advisement each semester (optional)
- Transcript services
- Graduation services (Senior year)
- A $200 yearly fee
- Yes! Our courses are based on a curriculum that has been developed through 53+ years of success. We use the same methods (4-ring and F.A.C.E.) as our brick-and-mortar campuses.
- AHS includes teachings of the restored gospel throughout our academic curriculum.
- New students must sign a commitment to our Honor Code and meet with admissions staff member.
- Non-Credit independent study courses have a base cost of $99-$119, with an additional cost of $11 for Math and $49 for science classes.
- This option includes student access to course materials for 6 months.
- For-Credit independent study courses have a base cost of $329, with an additional cost of $11 for Math and $49 for Science.
- This option includes homework grading, personalized feedback, and accredited transcript services.
- Depending on the courses and mentoring, the cost for 7 courses will be approximately $2135.50 per semester, plus a one-time fee of $200 for the grad pack for credit seeking students. (Now we only need 6.50 credits; 25 credits total needed graduate now. Last year it was 27.5!) Year total: $4,477 plus licensing fees ($11 for math and $49 for science.) For non-credit seeking students the cost will be between $643.50 and $773.50 per semester depending on the courses.
- Unfortunately, we do not currently offer discounts. However, as a non-profit organization, we strive to provide education at the most affordable rates possible.

- Students will communicate with and receive personalized feedback through the Canvas course interface.

- High School Course material is currently delivered through the Canvas Learning Management System. Homework submission and grading also takes place on Canvas(Instructure).

- Live (weekly deadlined) courses: Yes. See our 2024-25 calendar of days which shows the weekly schedule. Note: All weekly assignments are due Saturdays at 9 am.
- MyPace courses: No. You will have 1-6 months to complete an this course, at your pace. (Students will not receive credit if the course is completed in less than one month or more than six months. A one month extension may be purchased for $50).
- MyPace courses start date begins on submission of the first assignment. End dates are calculated from that date. (e.g. If course is purchase Aug. 1st, and the first assignment is submitted on Sep. 21st, the MyPace course start date will be the 21st of September. End date will then be 6 months from Sep. 21st)
- A one month extension may be purchased for MyPace courses for $50. Otherwise, they will need to pay for the course again and repeat the course.
- Courses will be available for enrollment in June of 2024.

GENERAL REFUND POLICY: If a student drops a course within 15 days of starting the course, they may receive a 75% refund from AHSO and no record will be placed on the transcript. MyPace courses are 75% refundable within 15 days from course start date.
- If a student drops a course 15 days after the start of the course, no refund will be provided. The course will show as WP or WF on the transcript, (WP for passing and WF for failing), depending on their grade when they drop the course.
- If a student exchanges one course for another within 15 days of starting, there is no monetary impact and no record on the transcript.
- If a student exchanges one course for another after the first 15 days of the course start date, a student will need to pay a $30 change class fee (administrative fee), and the dropped course will show as WP or WF on the transcript. (We do NOT suggest students make a change this far into the course.)
- A 100% refund will be issued if it is within 48 hours of registration.
