Our Power Hour Learning Coaches play an important role in helping students make meaningful connections to what they have learned in the lessons including building healthy connections with other students. During Power Hour, coaches will ask critical questions to encourage students to engage in the 4-Ring process, allowing them to apply concepts and principles to themselves personally as well as make connections to the gospel.
Hello AHS Online! I am beyond excited to be joining you this year for Power Hour! I feel it a great blessing to take part in your educational journey and make connections to the gospel. I served a mission in the country of Ukraine which was an incredible experience! I attended Brigham Young University where I participated in the BYU Ambassadors program. I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts and emphasis in Sound Production. I also recently married the love of my life, Holly Welch, who works for AHS Online as well. Some of my hobbies include, running, hiking and playing the drums. I grew up in a musical home and have worked as a drummer for many years. I feel music is a universal language and can be used for good to further God’s purposes. I also have a great passion for learning and believe it ought to be a life-long pursuit. Here’s to an exciting year!
Hello Hello friends! I’m from Paradise Utah and grew up in Meridian, Idaho. Yes, I do love Potatoes! In fact, my brother used to call me Nater-Potater. I was honored to serve a mission in Nicaragua where I learned to speak Spanish and help people come unto Christ. Then I worked for EFY for two years and got to be a temple worker as well. I’m 26 years old, I graduated from UVU, and I am so very excited to be one of your learning coaches! Meeting and learning with great new people is one of my favorite things to do. I also love to longboard, ski, breakdance, rollerblade, sing, slack line, play spike ball, ultimate frisbee, go camping, and play with all 16 of my nieces and nephews. My relationship with my Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ mean everything to me. I am so grateful for the chance to become more like them together with you as we explore, learn, and have a blast this year!
